New Friend Meet & Greet
Meet & Greets are required for all dogs before they can become a daycare member. This evaluation will run for a half day where your dog's temperament, play styles, and social behaviors will be observed to make sure they can safely socialize in a group setting.
$25 for 1 Dog, $45 for 2 Dogs.
If you have a scheduled temperament test, and your dog does not attend, there is a $25 fee for scheduled temperament test no shows.
1 day, 5-day, and 10-day packs (full day, half day, puppy program) will be available for purchase depending on the frequency your dog attends daycare. Pet parents can leave a card on file for quick and easy pick up.
If your dog attends daycare 1 - 2 days a week:
Single day purchases are available for purchase.
If your dog attends daycare 3 - 4 days a week:
Single day, and 5-day packs are available for purchase.
If your dog attends daycare 5 days a week:
Single day, 5-day, and 10-day packs are available for purchase.

Puppy Program
A program designed just for puppies
Our puppy program is recommended for dogs ages 8 weeks to 6 months. This is a crucial age for your dog's development, and we want to make sure that The Downtown Paw does everything we can to help your new puppy get their best start.
How is the Puppy Program different than daycare?
Each daycare visit includes the following:
- Basic Obedience: We work on basic manners with your puppy when they're in daycare. We teach them to sit before we open gates/doors, sit and stay before meals and treats, and that open doors are not an open invitation to pass through them.
- Boundaries/Socialization: Puppies and younger dogs are paired with dogs in group who can help teach them manners when playing (when they bite too hard or are being overly playful). Safe corrections from older dogs are more significant to them than our handlers telling them the same thing. Our tiny puppies wait until roughly four months before being introduced to any larger group of dogs.
- Nap Time: Puppies still need roughly 18 hours of sleep per day. Puppies are removed from group and given multiple naps time throughout the day to ensure they're getting sufficient sleep.
- Grooming: Puppies are put through a mock groom during the day where they get use to the sound of the clippers, the bath, the blow dryer, nail trims and more! This makes their first actual a groom a breeze and helps to positively associate your dog with grooming!

Daily Walks
Outdoor walks are here!
Daycare dogs will have the ability to take outdoor walks during their day. Parents can register for reoccurring walks on their schedule daycare days. Check out our Dog Services page here for non-daycare dog walking options.

Run FUR Fun is here!
Our dog powered treadmill is the perfect solution for those days where your dog has an abundance of spunk! Running is one of the best forms of exercise for your dog, and our treadmill lets them run at their own speed and their own style. Not only does exercise keep them healthy and happy, but it can help with issues such as:
- separation anxiety
- excessive chewing and barking
- obesity, constant licking
- helps build confidence
- keeps their bones & hearts strong
- decreases stress & more!
