Walking Services

Walking services are here! Starting in late September, walks as individual or group sessions will be available at The Downtown Paw. No breed restriction or size requirements. 

Requirements for any activity:   

• Leash
• Harness
• Readable ID Tags
• Waste Bags
• Vaccinations: Bordetella (kennel cough) & Distemper for group walks
• Rabies is required for any walking service (for dogs over 16 weeks)

Solo Walks – Solo walks are great for any dog. This is the perfect option for dogs with leash aggression, reactivity toward other dogs, or those still learning leash manners. Also available for multi-dog households. 

Group Walks – Group walks are by reservation only and max out at 5 dogs per walk. Un-neutered or un-spayed dogs are not eligible for group walks. Those that are dog aggressive, reactive, or leash aggressive are not eligible for group walks. Group walks are a minimum of 60 minutes.

Dog Park Visits – Dog park visits are available in 30- or 60-minute options. Dogs will be brought to their local enclosed dog park for some play with other dogs, a bathroom break, and more! Dogs must be neutered/spayed to be eligible for this option. 

Potty Breaks - Potty breaks are great for puppies or senior dogs. Our walker will take the dog out for a potty break, and then some brief exercise. Each potty break is roughly 20 minutes long. 

Dogs that want to be a part of group walks, or dog park visits must first pass a temperament test at our facility in Malden. This temperament test is to help ensure the safety of our walker and our group dogs.
